We all remember the day, where we were, who we were with, what we were doing, and later how numb we felt.
Upon learning the real story of what happened that fateful morning, many of us were shocked. Were there really schools in a desert half a world away, training young men to hate and kill with skill? Were millions more happy to cheer their "success"?
Soon, their hatred was met with bombs and missiles. Many more lives were lost.
Now, 23 years later, all of creation is groaning, waiting in longing expectation for the One who says,
“I came that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
While we wait, what shall we do?
I hear Him say,
- Choose life in every moment.
- Choose to use words that speak kindness.
- Choose loving actions that speak louder than words.
For the FARM STEW Family, I hear:
- Choose to equip thousands of people who can teach gospel-inspired practical hands-on skills that lift families out of extreme poverty to abundant life.
As you pause today to reflect on the pain and loss, I praise God for the ways that you have chosen LIFE, and I pray that you will continue to choose life with me!
I'm curious, from your perspective, what is the most life-giving thing about FARM STEW?
