Water; the simple gift
Before FARM STEW began training, villagers did not wash the leafy greens and did not eat them enough to get the iron they need. Instead, they slapped the greens on their hand to remove the dirt. The simple act of washing can reduce disease and parasites, helping children be well-nourished. The edible greens grow wild and fresh year round!
Many of the children likewise were not being washed properly. Their cleanliness can be a matter of life and death. But mom's can learn!! Check out our active class:
Sarah, in the video in the last scene, took action later that day.
During a surprise home visit, we found her bathing her beautiful child in fresh water after learning about sanitation and hygiene. Research is proving that combining these lessons with nutrition training multiplies the impact of the effect on child growth and survival.

Simple, affordable changes with big impact; that's the FARM STEW recipe for abundant life.
