Diyei

Diyei is a small village located in southern Chad in the Mandoul province with a population of approximately 1,800. In this village, people live off farming and fishing. The soil is poor, and fishing for small fish prevents families from providing for themselves adequately. On top of that, the community is constantly affected by flooding, and people don't know what to do about this concurrent problem. Women and children regularly fall ill due to the lack of clean water and adequate healthcare. However, the population yearns for change in the face of this situation, which is driving young people into rural exodus.
