Thete is a rural community in Dedza District found in the Central Region of Malawi known for its farming activities, though families often struggle with low yields due to unpredictable weather and limited resources. Access to schools, clean water, and health care remains a challenge, but the community works together through local initiatives and strong traditions of mutual support. A very interesting aspect about this community is that members are very eager to learn new concepts. As shown in the picture, members gathered for a demonstration on how to process soya beans into milk and other nutritious products like mandazi. Community members in this area have been growing soya but never knew its different uses. Thanks to FARM STEW for bringing the light.
