Manoa is a rural village in the Zambo Department of the Sud-Ouest Region, home to around 1,180 residents. The community relies mainly on agriculture, growing millet, maize, and sorghum, while also raising livestock for food and income. Residents face challenges such as limited access to healthcare, absence of local secondary schools, poor road conditions, and limited electricity, which restrict economic opportunities. Despite these hardships, the people of Manoa are resilient, with local initiatives aimed at improving agriculture and education. With targeted support, Manoa has the potential to enhance livelihoods, expand access to essential services, and build a more sustainable future.
