What does an ancient message from Revelation have to do with healthy families, food security, and your everyday choices?
FARM STEW founder Joy Kauffman has been so blessed this week to be halfway around the world sharing FARM STEW at the Philippine Youth for Christ, a conference with over 800 young people.
God impressed her to share the story of the original “activated aunties”, the Hebrew midwives who saved the baby boys, including Moses, from a death decree. They stood up to the Pharaoh, the most powerful man on earth at the time, who said he was a god. The Bible says they did so because they had the fear of the Lord.
The first angel's message, Revelation 14:6-7, calls us to proclaim to the world that we should fear God. What will that look like in a practical way?
We invite you to listen. We invite you to act.
In this message from the Philippine Youth for Christ conference, Joy unpacks the First Angel’s Message from Revelation 14—and why it’s more relevant than ever.
She draws a powerful connection between our calling today and the story found in Exodus 1, where we read:
“The children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly… but a new king arose in Egypt who did not know Joseph… and said, ‘Come, let us deal shrewdly with them…’” (Exodus 1:7–10)
“Then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shiphrah and the name of the other Puah...” (v.15)
These two midwives, in quiet defiance of a tyrant’s decree, chose to fear God rather than man—and in doing so, helped preserve a generation.
That same spirit of life-saving, courageous faith lives on today through the work of FARM STEW, equipping families with the tools to thrive and the courage to stand for truth.
This message isn’t just about prophecy—it’s about purpose.
Discover how you can be part of proclaiming the gospel not just with words, but with your life.
And by the way, about 40 young souls came forward for Joy's first ever altar call. Thank you 🙏 for your prayers!
"The fear of the Lord results in integrity, forgiveness, life-saving leadership, and courage in the face of opposition. It preserves not only spiritual lives but also physical ones.”
