In the remote Miskito region of eastern Nicaragua, FARM STEW is bringing hope and practical help to 12 vulnerable communities. Poverty is widespread here, and families often lack access to basic services like clean water, health care, and education. Our team of dedicated trainers—who speak the Miskito language—travel long distances by canoe on the Rio Coco and on foot through rough terrain to reach these isolated villages. They are now teaching the FARM STEW Recipe Manual to more than 180 families, beginning with simple, hands-on lessons in farming, nutrition, hygiene, and more. Despite the challenges, the trainers are faithfully sharing tools for abundant living. Step by step, families are gaining the knowledge and skills they need to improve their health, grow food, and build a better future.
